Redmi Note 7 Pro with 48MP camera and Snapdragon 675 SoC processor launched in India : specifications, price and availability
Over a month after teasing the phone, Xiaomi finally launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro officially at an event in New Delhi on Thursday. The Pro version has several improvements over the regular Note 7 like upgraded processor, more storage and enhanced camera.

Note 7 Pro comes in two variants. The one with 4GB+64GB RAM and storage option has a price tag of Rs. 13,999. On the other hand, the 6GB+128GB variant has a price tag of Rs 16,999. It comes in three colour options - Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black. The first two colour options have gradient finish on back.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the smartphone will go on sale from March 13 at 12 PM IST on their website mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home retail stores with several other select retailers later.
Xiaomi has also partnered with Airtel to offer their customers upto 1,120 GB free 4G data with unlimited calling and Airtel Thanks benifits. The phone will also come bundled with a free ultra-slim case.
The regular version Redmi Note 7 will go on sale from March 6 at 12 PM IST with starting price of Rs. 9,999.
Specifications and features :
The Note 7 Pro sports the same 'Aura design' as in Redmi Note 7 as well as the same 6.3 inches FHD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has the same dew-drop notch design (or the dot-notch).
The phone is protected by 2.5D curved gorilla glass 5, both at front as well as back. It has an 11nm based Snapdragon 675 SoC octacore processor. The phone comes in two models of 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB with an expandable storage option of upto 256GB via a micro-SD card.
The camera department consists of a dual rear-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor and a secondary 5MP lens for depth sensing. It also has a support for 4K recording. The dot-notch at front packs a 13MP selfie camera. Company also has added a number of AI features to the camera like AI scene detection, AI portrait 2.0 and night mode.
The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with the company's MIUI 10 running over the top. The phone has an added enhanced system optimisation which, Xiaomi claims, provide a 10 percent faster system responsiveness.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by a 4000mAh battery with Quick charge 4.0 support. Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, a USB type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a dual VOLTE hybrid SIM slot. Connectivity includes WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and infrared.
