Windows 10 October 2018 update finally rolled out for install

Microsoft has finally rolled out the long awaited windows 10 October 2018 update. All the windows 10 users can finally download it on their devices through manual update, or it will directly update if you have enabled the automatic update feature.

Many users reported that their data including some types of files and folders were deleted while performing the update though it looked normal. Some also reported that their files were moved when they were being copied.

Since then, Microsoft have been working on fixing these bugs, however, the initial release was available, with a warning to use at own risk. The update was also reported to have been rolled out even after the testers inside the company were aware of the bug.

The company has decided to roll out this release into phases of small batches. This is done in order to address any issue earlier, and hence avoid any other such major problem like initial release.
