Redmi note 7 with 48MP camera launched in China today - price and specifications



Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphone under its sub-brand redmi, the Redmi Note 7, in China today.

SPECIFICATIONS:


The device comes with a waterdrop notch and a dual rear camera setup, one of which is 48MP. It has a 4000mAh battery and a rear fingerprint sensor. The display is 6.3" FHD+ (1080x2340) with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and has a 2.5D corning gorilla glass 5 protection. The back also has a glass protection.
It runs on a MIUI 9 based android oreo 8.1, and is powered by the qualcomm's snapdragon 660 soc octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and is paired with the adreno 512 GPU. It is available in three RAM variants of 3GB, 4GB and 6GB, with storage options of 32GB and 64GB which is expandable upto 256GB through micro-SD card.


It has a dual rear camera setup of 48MP+5MP with Sony IMX sensors capable of shooting videos at 1080p and has a dual LED flash. The front has a 13MP selfie camera capable of taking portrait shots. It also has an AI face unlock feature.



The 4000mAh battery has a quick charge 4 support. Xiaomi claims that it has a 251hrs standby, 23hrs of talktime, 13hrs of video playback and a 7hrs of gaming backup.
Connectivity options include a USB type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a dual nano sim vo-LTE support, with Bluetooth 5.0. The device weighs 186gms.

PRICE & AVAILABILITY:

Redmi Note 7 is priced at CNY 999 (or roughly ₹10,300) for the 3GB+32GB model; CNY 1,199 (or roughly ₹12,400) for the 4GB+64GB model; and CNY 1,399 (or roughly ₹14,500) for the 6GB+64GB model. The smartphone will be made available for purchase from January 15 and will come in three colour variants viz. twilight gold, fantasy blue and bright black colour options.
