Nvidia geforce gtx 10-series soon going to be phased out, affordable new series expected to be rolled out soon

The Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang, has officially stated that the company is soon going to terminate the production of its latest high-end GeForce GTX-10 series GPUs, with the remaining supplies too, going to dry up very soon. This would leave the interested buyers with only the option of much more expensive new RTX-20 series.

As per Huang, the company has depleted its reserves of the gtx 1080 ti, gtx 1080, gtx 1070 ti and gtx 1070. The stocks of gtx 1060 are also expected to run out in a few weeks. This may force the buyers to switch to AMD cards, as there would be only the expensive rtx-20 lineups available in latest nvidia cards. However, he also stated that the buyers still have the option of buying recently announced rtx-2060 at CES-2019.

Rumours also say that the company is preparing to launch at least one new card with same architecture as that of rtx-20 series, but would lack some features in order to offer a cheaper price.

Customers in many parts of world may still purchase second hand versions of these GPUs, which would be available at some merchant websites.
