NASA will allow tourists to explore the International Space Station from next year
NASA has said that it will open the International Space Station (ISS) from 2020 for space tourism and other business ventures. But you will have to pay $35,000 for a one night stay there.

NASA has said that it will open the International Space Station (ISS) from 2020 for space tourism and for other commercial purposes including business ventures. Each tourist will have to pay an amount of $35,000 to stay for just one night. NASA itself will do all the arrangements for tourists such as food and communication while they stay in the ISS.
NASA's Chief Financial Officer Jeff Davit told in New York, "NASA is opening the International Space Station to create business opportunities and for marketing these opportunities, which we have never done before."

ISS Deputy Director Robin Gattens said that there will be two small private space exploration missions per year. He said that the mission would last for 30 days. About a dozen private astronauts could travel to the ISS per year.
According to the report, NASA Chief Financial Officer Jeff Davit estimates that the cost per trip will be approximately 500 million dollars per tourist. NASA has given the responsibility of arranging passengers to SpaceX and Boeing Company. NASA will itself charge the money of food, collection and communication for staying in the center, which will be approximately $35,000 per night.
