Oppo K1 with in-display fingerprint launched in India - price, specifications and availability


Oppo K1 has been launched in India on Wednesday. It sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and a hyper-boost technology to enhance gaming performance.



Specifications:
The device features a 6.4 inches full HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a pixel density of 402ppi and has a 91% screen-to-body ratio. It also has a corning gorilla glass 5 protection.
The device comes with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with Color OS 5.2 running over it. It is powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon 660 SoC octacore processor clocked at 1.95GHz, coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
The rear portion has a dual camera setup of 16MP+2MP and the front has a 25MP selfie camera encased in the waterdrop notch. The rear camera has an AI scene detection feature as well as AI powered portrait mode. It has a micro-USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack as well. It is powered by a 3600 mAh battery.


Price and availability:
Oppo K1 has two RAM variants of 4GB and 6GB with 64GB internal storage capacity in both. However, only the 4GB variant is made available in India with a price tag of Rs. 16,990, while the 6GB model is expected to launch later this year, which has already been launched in China in October 2018. The 4GB version will go on sale on Flipkart on February 12 at 12 noon IST onwards. The sale includes various offers like 10% discount on Citi Bank credit and debit cards, no cost EMIs for select banks, complete mobile protection and Flipkart's buyback guarantee.
