Samsung confirms the launch of its new "India-first" M-series, to compete xiaomi budget phones

Samsung has confirmed the launch of its long rumoured M-series which will be first launched in India across the globe, by the South Korean tech giants. It also has teased this M-series on amazon.in with an infinity Y display. With this series, the company is targeting the budget range of smartphones, which is dominated currently by xiaomi across India. The series will include most likely three models, viz. M10, M20 and M30, which will be launched on 28th January, as revealed in the image on the amazon india website.

The company wants to target the youth of the country, whom they have addressed as the young millennial consumers, who mostly prefer to buy the budget handsets. The series is expected to bring powerful soc processors, along with type-C USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, sufficient RAM and storage options, powerful cameras and display, etc.

Samsung confirmed the launch of M-series on Monday, and has revealed some of its photos on amazon.in as well as the Samsung India websites. The expected starting price will be ₹9,500 with AMOLED LCD display and upto 128GB Storage options.
