Oneplus 7 images leaked - no notch, no punch hole

An image of the most awaited smartphone from the company Oneplus, has been leaked. In this leaked image, the phone appears with a Notch-less display with no Punch-hole either. The image shows only upper half of the device, but it is enough to explain pretty much about the device. It clearly reveals that the phone is almost Bezel-less with some sort of sliding mechanism for the front components like selfie camera and sensors.

The Chinese tech giant is expected to launch the device in first half if this year, most probably in the month of May. The new flagship will come as a successor to the previous Oneplus 6T, which has till now seen a significant price drop.

The image was leaked by coolapk but now has been deleted. However, before being deleted, it quickly got spotted by slashleaks. Some of the features that are similar to the 6T device, can be easily spotted in this leaked image, like the earpiece grille, power button and alert slider.

The sliding mechanism has already been tested earlier by a couple of other companies. We have seen this feature in the Oppo Find X as well as the Xiaomi's Mi mix 3 devices. The Oppo Find X had a motorised slider whereas the later one had a mechanical slider, and both sported almost Bezel-less displays.

The company is also reportedly working on a 5G phone which may be a variant of oneplus 7. However, the company CEO, Pete Lau, has said that the 5G device will have a separate branding and will be $200-300 costlier than the Oneplus 6T and it will be launched in MAY this year. Both the devices will most probably have the latest flagship processor by qualcomm, the snapdragon 855 SoC.
