New dictate feature for typing mesaages in Whatsapp

WhatsApp users are no longer needed to type a message entirely, as it has now a voice command feature through mic, that will type the message to be sent, without using keypad. This feature is called the "dictate feature", and is made available for both android as well as iOS.

The dictation feature is already available in Google assistance or Siri, but now whatsapp users will also be able to use this as a built-in feature for sending messages to their contacts, using a new mic icon on keypad.

How to use it?

To use this feature, open the app and then open the contact you wish to send the message to. Now, pull the keypad as usual, for typing the message. A black mic icon will appear in the keypad. This icon will be at the top right corner in android, while at the bottom right in iOS. Click on this icon and start dictating the message to be sent. It will also put a (,) or a (?) sign by dictating "comma" or "question mark". However, it doesn't seem to understand the "full stop" command.

You can also edit the message before sending it, for which you will have to type it. The feature will be quite useful for typing long messages, where one can simply dictate the message through their voice, instead of typing them manually.
