Nights on moon are quite terrifying, man won't be able to survive for even a few seconds

If we talk about the day and night temperature of the Earth, then they are completely different from the Moon. When one month of Earth is completed then one day ends on the moon. The night here is as long as 14 nights of the Earth.

There was a Japanese movie "Destroy All Monsters". It was a classic science fiction movie, in which it was imagined that by 1999 man would start living on the Moon by building a colony. Well, it has not happened yet. Even if it ever happened, it will not be easy. Because it will be very difficult for a human to face 15 days long nights and 15 days long days.

Actually, one day of the moon is equal to about 28 days on Earth. There is a lot of difference in the weather with the night and day temperatures here. If you believe that the North Pole or some countries of the Northern Hemisphere are very cold on Earth, as the temperature reaches very low below zero, then remember that the moon is many steps ahead in this case.

Difference in the position of the North and South Pole of the Moon
It is said that there is a great difference between the nature of North Pole of the Moon and the South Pole. Therefore, the variations in temperature have also been reported to be different on both poles at night. Also, there is a part of the moon that never faces the Earth, and there is usually less light here.

When the moon revolves 360 degrees in its orbit, it takes 27.32 days to orbit the earth. In such a situation, first part is towards earth for a long time. Then the same situation is for the other part of the moon.

The temperature drops at night
A day on earth is twenty four hours. It has a 12-hour day and a 12-hour night. On the other hand, day and nights on Moon are 14 days long. Therefore, the objects on the surface of the moon have a great effect on night and day. The temperature of the moon falls continuously at night. The temperature rises continuously during the day.

Moreover, the conditions of different parts of the moon are also different. It is believed that the south pole of the moon is colder. The nights are so cold that any human on earth can't live there under those conditions. The fantasy of making settlements is a distant thing.

When India launched its Chandrayaan-2 lander Vikram there on September 7, this day was not selected as such, rather it was a complete calculation, because the day is starting on the moon. During the day, the lander would have the advantage to do its work efficiently.

The night is cold and icy
Scientists believe that the temperature at the south pole of the moon is not too hot during the day but the nights are very cold. It falls gradually as time passes. Snow starts settling everywhere. This make the living conditions in this area more painful. Due to this reason, all the missions that have gone to the moon till now, have gone to the northern region.

Temperature reaches 200 degrees below zero
As time passes, the temperature gradually drops 200 degrees below zero. Nothing survives in this temperature. But it is also said that this is the area where there is a possibility of getting water. Here are some such deep craters, which have deep water. By the way, some craters are so deep in this area that perhaps sunlight never reached there.

North Pole is relatively less colder
The temperature in the North Pole is relatively less colder at night. By the way, this area is dry and dusty. Now let's talk about the temperature of the moon during the daytime. During the day, the temperature here gets warmer, which goes up to 260 degrees Fahrenheit i.e. 127 degrees Celsius, this happens when the sunlight continuously falls on the moon.

Thankfully, none of the astronauts on the moon never had to face this temperature of the moon. NASA's Apollo mission first sent Neil Armstrong to the moon. After that between 1969 and 1972, 11 other people also reached there. But it arrived only when it was morning on the moon.

Why are there no seasons on the moon?
Moon is only 1.54 degrees tilted on its axis while the Earth is tilted upto 23.44 degrees. Because of this, two things happen. One is that the weather does not change on the moon like the Earth and secondly, there are many areas on the moon poles where sunlight or rays never reach.
