Xiaomi starts developing MIUI 11 - A new and unique one

Xiaomi has reportedly announced the development of its new UI, the MIUI 11. The company has been rolling out the MIUI 10 update for some of its devices recently, which was revealed in June last year. And now it has announced its development process of MIUI 11 at its core experience annual meeting, reports say. And it may unveil it in June this year, just like MIUI 10 in June last year.

According to the reports, the product planning department head, Liu Ming, said at the event, that they have started the research and development phase for a "new and unique" OS.

Although, the features were not revealed at the event, but it is expected to bring a totally new look with "humanised functions". The MIUI 9 was mainly focused on making the devices faster, while the MIUI 10 is mainly concentrated on AI and full-screen display experience.

The company brought many unique features last year with its new OS MIUI 10. These include AI portrait feature, full screen gestures and newer versions of Mi music, Mi video, an enhanced browser, etc. The MIUI 10 now supports over 40 devices, including both Mi and redmi models.

The company is expected to bring yet again, several new features in their new UI, as seen in its latest OS, the MIUI 10.
