Xiaomi Mi 9T set to launch on June 12

Xiaomi has announced that the company will launch a new smartphone series next week. The company tweeted on Monday that Xiaomi Mi 9T will be introduced on June 12. Xiaomi has not yet disclosed that the event will be held in China for this phone or in another market. It was earlier believed that the Mi 9T would be only an international version of Redmi K20. But now it appears that this estimate was wrong.

At the moment, there is not much information available about Xiaomi Mi 9T. However, Xiaomi's teasers have revealed that this smartphone will come with a pop-up selfie camera. Apart from this, the company has shared a picture of the back portion of the phone, which has confirmed three rear cameras and LED flash in the handset. There is no fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. So, it is possible that the Xiaomi Mi 9T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi has asked its fans to guess the meaning of T in the Mi 9T for several days. It is possible that T stands for Turbo. It seems that Xiaomi is bringing its own flagship smartphone Mi9 in a different avatar named Mi 9T. Due to the pop-up selfie camera, there will be no waterdrop notch.
However, the alleged pictures of Mi 9T's retail box were made public on the Internet last week. It was revealed that this phone will come with Snapdragon 730 processor, 4,000 mAh battery, 6.39 inches full-HD + screen and 48 megapixel primary sensor.
