FaceTime Bug in iPhone allows anyone to listen to your audio feed - here's how to disable it
Apple Inc has announced on Monday that it will release a software update this week with patch to fix a big that allows iPhone users to hear audio from those who haven't accepted their video call. Apple's FaceTime video calling feature allows the iPhone users to place a call and hear the recipient's voice even if the recipient hasn't picked up the call. The bug seems to rely upon group video calling feature. Hence, the company has disabled the group FaceTime feature for now.
Apple had announced the group FaceTime last summer but removed it from early test versions of iOS 12. It then released it later in October.
The temporary solution to fix this bug until the update comes, is to disable the FaceTime feature on your Apple device. Here's how to fix it: Go to settings > FaceTime and then toggle the button right at the top to set it on or off (a green button indicated that it is on).
In Mac devices, open the FaceTime app > go to the FaceTime menu on the top left > click on turn FaceTime off.
