Reliance Jio has announced its two new plans for Jio phone users, as an extension to its Jio phone monsoon hungama offer. These are long term plans worth Rs.297 and Rs.594, which will sit alongside with the existing plans of Rs.49, Rs.99 and Rs.153, which are exclusive to Jio phone and Jio phone 2 only. Both the plans will provide 0.5GB of data per day for extended time period alongwith additional services.
The Rs.297 plan will provide a total of 42GB of data for 84 days, split as 0.5GB per day. It will also provide 300 SMS per 28 days, means a total of 900 SMS during the entire subscription period of 84 days. On the other hand, the Rs.594 plan will provide the same amount of daily data, i.e. 0.5GB, but for a longer period of 168 days, means a total of 84GB. It will also provide the same amount of SMS, i.e. 300 messages per 28 days, means a total of 1800 messages during the entire subscription period of 168 days.
Both the plans would also provide unlimited free voice calling as well as complimentary subscription to Jio apps, like every other plan. Users will be provided a reduced data speed of 64Kbps post the exhaustion of the given daily data quota.
These offers come as an extension to the Jio phone monsoon hungama offer. The company had announced the Jio phone monsoon hungama offer in July last year in its annual general meeting, which reduced the effective price of Jio phone from 1500 to 501, which is a 4G volte feature phone. Company also had announced the launch of Jio gigafiber broadband service for 1,100 cities across the country in this event.
