Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recently said that the option of Cross Platform Message will be given through the merger of WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. It seems that the company has started working on it. For now, the feature of cross-platform messages has not been released yet, but the Story Share feature has came out. However, this feature is still in beta build.

According to a report from WABetainfo, a new feature has been added in WhatsApp. With this feature, you can share WhatsApp status directly to Facebook. That means if you have posted a status on WhatsApp, then you can create a Facebook Story too. For this, there will be an option under WhatsApp Story.

This portal has also shared screenshots. In this screenshot, it can be seen that there is an option below the WhatsApp status - Add to Facebook story. You can apply these status on Facebook by tapping here.

However, it is not clear whether the account of Whatsapp and Facebook should be linked for this purpose or the company has already linked it. However, it is quite certain that if your phone has a Facebook app, you can add status directly from Whatsapp.
Apart from this, it is also possible that users will be able to share status, post, videos and photos on Facebook through WhatsApp as well. WhatsApp has recently submitted a new update under the Google Play Beta program, which is 2.19.151 version. This feature has not yet been made available to all the users. The company will keep this feature sometime in beta build and after that it will be released for public.
