Samsung Galaxy Watch Active : specifications leaked
The South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on its upcoming smartwatch which is supposed to be the successor to the Gear sport smartwatch and is named as Galaxy watch active. The smartwatch may have a bezel-less ring with a 1.1 inch wide AMOLED display. This makes it smaller than its predecessor that had a 1.2 inches display. Moreover, it will have a 236 mAh battery which is again lesser than its predecessor that had a 300 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Watch Active will have support for Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC as well. The smartwatch is also rumoured to be water resistant upto 50 meters. It will have a 4GB of storage and will be powered by Exynos 9110 processor. It will run on Tizen 4.0.0.3 and will also have support for GPS and Wi-Fi. At 13mm thick, it is expected to be thicker than its predecessor as well which was just 11.6mm thick.
Samsung is most likely to launch this product in its Galaxy unpacked event, that is going to take place on February 20, where the main attraction would be the launch of Galaxy S10.
