Jio launches group talk conference calling app for Android
Reliance Jio has launched an Android app which allows users to make group conference calls through a Jio VoLTE SIM. The app is launched with name Jio Group Talk that allows calling ten people at once and comes with features like lecture mode, ability to mute participants, HD Voice calling and many more.
The app is currently under trial mode and is only available to those who have a Jio SIM. The commercial full-featured version of the app will be made available soon. The app is also not listed on Apple's AppStore currently and is limited to Android platform.
Reliance Jio has listed the app as 'one-touch multy-party calling application exclusively for Jio users'. The app allows ten people to talk in conference all at once, means you don't have to select participants one by one for calling. One can even schedule a conference call on the Jio Group Talk app. It also allows to add or remove a participant during the call, mute any participant or reconnect them. The lecture mode is a feature that allows only one participant to speak while others will listen.
Although, the Jio Group Talk only has the calling feature for now, but it may very soon also bring video calling as well as chatting features as well.
